Sunny Days

We have been blessed with a few warm days recently and we have really took advantage! It has been so nice to get outside and play and I think Brandon enjoyed it also!

Brandon blows a mean bubble!

Ethan loves to go to the park with his friends!

Ezra stops long enough to give a good smile!

I am looking forward to more warm days but frustrated with the fact that I have tons of winter clothes that Elyza hasn't got to wear yet! What was I thinking!! Hope fully she will still get to wear them! Hope everyone has a wonderful week!

What you've missed!

I would like to start off by thanking all the people that helped us out after I had Elyza.

Thank you to those of you that were my taxi drivers, helping me get to dr.'s visits and getting ethan to school and back.

Thank you to all the wonderful church family that cooked for us for a week while I got better. You have no idea what a big help it was to not have to worry about that.

Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers of healing!

It has now been 5 weeks since I have had Elyza and I really do feel great. Now if I can get this weight off!

The transition from 2 to 3 children has been such a breeze so far ( knock on wood) So much easier then going from 1 to 2... But I'm not gonna count my chickens!

Ethan really hasn't seem to change much since the baby has gotten here. He doesn't act jealous or anything which is good.

Ezra love love loves his baby sister. He is very protective of her and wants to hold and kiss her all the time .

Going into week 5 Elyza is doing great. She has been sleeping 6 hours straight at night which is AWESOME! Hope she keeps that up! I don't know what to do not feeling exausted! But she has to be kept on a routine or she does get out of whack. so our social life is probably on hold for a year or so. But we will do what we have to do.

Hope everyone is having a great 2011 so far. I know I am.!

Elyza Dae is here!

So I'm just a little behind! So lets recap!!

On December 28th 2010 Miss Elyza entered the world!!

7 pounds 7 ounces 19 1/2 inches long!
Her brother love her so much!!

Ethan has been so happy to be a big brother again!

Elyza is such a good baby! We feel so blessed to have her as part of the family. Our family feels complete now. Things have been running very smoothly and everyone seems to be doing really good with the transition!
Thank you so much to our friends and family that supported and prayed for us throughout my pregnancy!

28 weeks!

Wow! Has it been this long already! Seems to be going by very fast!

I went to the Dr. today for my visit.. Had to do the glucose test.. wasn't to bad.. tasted like flat orange fanta! lol... Hopefully the test will come back good!

Heather did an ultrasound today and said that Elyza looks great! Thank You Heather!
Her weight is right where it needs to be but she has a big belly like Ezra did and her shoulders are very wide.. so I guess you know what that means.. Csection! But we are gonna wait a few more weeks before its decided for sure dr. carroll says.. But if I do have a csection I will be having her a day or two after Christmas so at least I will have a few days to feel better before Ethan goes back to school and it won't be right on top of his birthday!.

I start going to the Dr. every 2 weeks now! I can't believe it! It doesn't seem like its time to start doing that yet! I guess I need to start realizing that we are gonna have a baby.. lol It just hasn't seemed real!

We need to finish the playroom and get started on her room. I feel so far behind!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

(Sorry my thoughts are so random.. I'm trying to hurry before brandon starts fussing about me being on the computer! ahhh!) :)

God's Plan!

I guess I should start from the beginning....

About 20 weeks ago.. I found out that I was pregnant with baby number 3! It was a big shock and not planned.. so when i took the test and it was positive .. lets just say it would of been a great time to see the look on my face! I think I remember the words..."You've got to be kidding me'' come out of my mouth!!
I was so nervous to tell Brandon because he was under so much stress at work that I didn't want to induce a heartattack! But I told him because lets face it, he's to blame right? lol But he didn't pass out or anything so that was a good sign... (side note) he had a little smile on his face

A few days later we decided to tell our 5 year old Ethan the news.. Daddy said "Ethan there's a baby is mommies belly" His reply .." mommy I already knew you were pregnant, I've been praying for a baby sister.. Again a great time to see the look on my face... Wishing to myself that he would pray for a bigger house and more money along with his prayer for a baby sister .. I just smiled and said you did..

As the weeks went on .. the first 15 weeks to be exact I became sicker and sicker until i could barely funtion! it was so dreadful for everyone that had to be around me.. Luckily I had friends and family to help me out and myhusband was a good sport..
As time has passed I have become more stressed out and worried about how in the world we are going to provide for another baby.. Scared how Im going to manage taking care of 3 children basically by myself because Brandon is at work constantly... All these things have been flooding my mind for almost 25weeks now and I have been worried and scared and depressed hoping and praying that we are going to be able to provide for our children and praying that our baby ( who by the way is a little girl) will be healthy and happy.. that I haven't known what to do.. I've been stressing over getting the rooms finished and house back in order and just so many different things.. our marriage has been stressful because of it and its just been hard...
But then something happened....... We drug ourselves out of bed this morning and made it to church( something that has been very hard to do these last several weeks) and as I was sitting in the santuary listening to one of our youth pastors preach.. my self diagnosed ADD started to take over..
Yes this baby was not planned.... But... God has a plan for our life.. This baby is a gift from God.. (I think to Ethan)lol God is not going to have us walk on the path that he has us on to just leave us by ourselves to figure things out.. He is not going to put this baby in our hands and not give us a way to provide for her and her brothers.. As I set in the pew and thought about all the things I started to cry.. Trying to hold back as much as I could b/c I hate to cry in front of people and it made me remember why I always had long hair so i could hide behind it when I did cry. lol.. But sitting there just thining about how God as always took care of us and provided for us just made a calm and peace come over me.. He will never leave us.. He is always here for us and he is the ruler of my life and he has the plan and it is my job to do his will and be patient with him because he knows what he is doing.. Now do I think that a check from ed mcman is going to show up inmy mailbox ?no.. but I think that God will send opportunities for us to be able to provide for this baby and buy er the hings she needs..
That is whynow more then
ever I think that the name we have picked out for this little lady is the perfect name..........

Elyza Dae
It means "Gods Promise"

Hope everyone has a wonderful week! And remember be a blessing to someone this week you won't believe what one kind thing you do can change how someones whole week goes..

24 week check up!

Well just got home a little while ago from my Dr. appt.. felt like I was there forever.. I had another ultrasound to check her out and make sure she is doing good..and yes it's still a girl! lol
I have lots and lots of pictures to share but will have to wait till my computer is back up and running

Elyza was moving around like crazy waving her hands and sucking her thumb.. she measured perfect and weighs 1 pound so she is right on track!

I on the other hand gained 8 pounds this month!! I mean are you kidding me!! 8 pounds! Im a cow!! So far I have gained 14 pounds! Yikes.. My Dr. only wants me gaining 20 so I have to really start watching things.. SHe said no more juice at all.. I dont know how I will survive but i better try!

My iron is also pretty low so she wrote me a script for some iron pills... which explains alot on why im so tired and maybe why I have been dizzy lately..
I have the glucose test next month.. I am not looking forward to that but it must be done! lol

Ethan went with me to the Dr. and he was so excited to see his sister! He kept saying shes waving at me momma! It was so cute..

Looking forward to tomorrow and getting together with friends that I havent seen i am while! Hope everyone has a good weekend!

These are the days of our lives.....

Well I don't believe that I have blogged in a while so I figured since I had a minute or so I would...

Today starts the first day of deer season for this year.. glad that ethan and brandon will have sometime together.. I can't wait till Ezra is old enough.. I know it sounds bad but sometimes I just need a break from him.. He just gives me such a fit I just dont' know how to deal with him. (Any pointers would be great from some veteran moms out there!)

Ethan is doing well in school.. I think he is getting adjusted.. He is so far ahead of the kids in his class.. Not just because he is smart but he got a great 2 years at Union Grove Christian School. They are well advanced above public school and the teachers that we were blessed with were truly wonderful.. They will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am almost 24 weeks pregnant now.. (I think) I have lost count! lol We have started to tell people her name.. I was trying to wait and do something special to tell people but to be honest I have had the energy to process any thoughts other then the ones that I have to right now..

It still feels unreal that I am pregnant again and Ezra is only 19 months old.. I dont know why it still isnt registering in my brain.. I guess it wont be realistic until she is actually here..
She is starting to move alot more now which is great because I was getting worried.. The dr. said it was b/c my placenta was postioned differently this time and it was making a cushion between the baby and me.. Her name is Elyza Dae ..Dae is like (Day) I wonder if I should just spell it Day so I dont have to keep explaining myself.. lol
I go back to the Dr. this week and am having another ultrasound. Cant wait to see her. My husband has to work so I think my good friend is going with me.. I will be having ultrasounds every month until I have her to monitor how she is doing and her weight because I tend to have big babies.. Im really trying to not have a csection again just because I had such a hard time with Ezra.. But on the other hand a scheduled csection would be a good thing with 2 other children to think about.. I could have things more in order and be more in control of the situation.. It's just scary.. I know that I will have to depend on other people for help and I hate to do that . But It is Gods will whatever it be whether I have a csection or a regular birth and he will be with me.. he always is.. and he is in control of all things....
Brandon is working all the time and being pulled in so many different directions that it is exausting him.. I feel so bad for him.. He is the most hard working person I have ever met and I'm not just saying that cause he is my husband.. he really is.. I hope that he teaches our children to be hard working to accomplish what they want in life and not just wait around for everyone to hand things to them like so many people our age I know do.. But I hope he teaches them not to be walked on like he is by people...
He works so hard and I know that but I still cant help but fuss at him about getting things done around here.. WHY IS THAT? Why am I so hard on him when I know how hard everyone else is on him..... I need to be more understanding of how tired he is and just trust in him that everythign will get done around him in time... He has never met me down and he always gets everything taken care of.. He is a good man.. But he still drives me crazy! maybe its my hormones that makes me that way.. I have been on edge so much with this pregnancy... it's crazy how different it is.. I am hoping that the next 16 or so weeks go by quickly...
We have started painting the playroom finally... Thanks to David Young for geting the sheetrock done for us to paint... So hopefully painting will be done this week then to do the molding and floors and then lights and we will be ready to play.. Ethan can't wait..
Well I guess I need to get some things done around here.. Hope everyone has a good week.. Did I mention I cant wait for this cooler weather to stay... I love it!
