Ethan and Ezra celebrated their birthdays this month so I thought it would be much easier to do one blog instead of 2. This year instead of spending loads of money decorating and buying stuff for a big party that they could care less about..( lets face it no one decorates and spends all that money for the kids, it's for the people that are coming) Since Iv'e spent the last 6 years doing that I learned my lesson. All they want is to do something fun and spend time with there family and friends.. so this year we did just that.. Ethan decided that he wanted to go to Great Wolf Lodge for his birthday. It was so fun! We went the day after Christmas so for his actually bday we had a bonfire and ate pizza, roasted marshmellows and he played with his friends.. The weather was perfect! We had a great time. It was stress free and wonderful. It's the first year I wasn't running around stressed out trying to make things pretty and boy did it feel good!!
this is the most decorating I did! lol
Ethan got this coat from his friend Lexi and put it on as soon as he recieved it and has wore it everyday since!!
the party got so wild we had the cops called on us and we had to bribe him with pizza! "just kidding!"
we even had a lumberjack at the party! He helped with the fire! lol
I'm not sure about these guys! The three stooges maybe?
the ladies hung out inside and to see what they could get into! yes I know the carpet is ugly, I'm trying to get my husband to put wood floor down!
For Ezra's Birthday we asked him where he wanted to go eat dinner and he said mexican so off to
Don Juans we went with his aunt Cortney & Uncle Melvin and let me not forget his soon to be born cousin Amilya was in tow!!! He ordered is favorite food and ate so many chips and salsa I'm suprised he didn't get a tummy ache! We ate cake and the guys that worked there sang to him and even ate some cake to!! I don't have pictures because I left my camera at home!! :(
But here are a few from before!
My mom got him this cute card and brought it over and it turned into a birthday hat! Which then inspired me to make him a birthday shirt! I think it turned out really cute! It is hard to believe that he is 3 and will be starting school this year. It seems like just yesterday Ethan was starting pre k3 and I was pregnant with Ezra! Time sure does fly! Enjoy this time with your kids!!
